Tea or Sweet Olive Shrubs!
Tea olives are known for their heady, peachy/jasmine/orange fragrance - used to make perfumes and oils in the Deep South. They are borderline hardy here but prefer dry conditions in the summer which makes them highly desirable.
They can live through winter indoors in a pot which you can take out in summer. This sounds like a lot of work but come smell them! It's worth it!
Ours are called "Fudingzhu" which is the most cold hardy and blooms longer than other varieties!

Getting Ready for Spring!
February is the right time to prepare for your Spring vegetable garden. First - clean up the space, then amend your soil with some we swear by, as well as adding natural fertilizers. Second - you can plant your root vegetable seeds and onions. The you can add our leafy green lettuces and cruciferous cole crop like broccoli, brussels sprouts and cabbages. Don't forget to sow your favorite peas - English, snow, or sugar snap. Lastly, this is a great time to plant Summer bulbs, like lilies, agapanthus, amaryllis, and such. Who We Are
Sometimes folks come visit and ask us, "When are your geraniums (for example) coming in?" They don't realize that we grow 75% of what we offer!
In Winter we start filling plug trays with seed, carefully trying to prod them into plants that are big enough to transplant. (We are also seed-savers!)
Lots of larger plants we raise from cuttings, Julio, our greenhouse manager, is a master of coaxing out beautiful plants.
We are very proud of NOT being a mechanized, computer run nursery. We hand water water and love on our plants!
